The party starts on the desktop.
The project
Brainless Productions run parties and events in Christchurch under the line Groove Dealer. We built their site as a working early-2000s desktop: past events open as folders, photos from the night pop up in picture viewers, top sets play in a media player and event hire runs through a wizard. Behind the fun it does the jobs that matter, from newsletter sign ups to hire enquiries and merch.

What we built
- A desktop you can use
- Icons, windows, a start menu and a taskbar, with a still mode for anyone who would rather the page moved less.
- Hire through the Event Wizard
- Enquiries for 21sts, stag dos and Halloween parties step through an install-style wizard instead of a plain contact form.
- Their own nights, front and centre
- Past events, photos, top YouTube sets and Instagram each sit in their own window, next to two playable mini games.
